When does a dream become a safer place with more truth and tenderness than reality?

When a dream reveals the strongest fears that we hide from ourselves and are afraid to fall asleep, so that when we fall asleep we don’t talk about what we hide, dream about, endlessly desire, but leave it for other lives.

When does living in a dream become safer and more comfortable than in reality? When do we not want to wake up? Or: we want to wake up but can’t?

When do we laugh until we cry, and when do those tears of laughter become too sharp and have the power to hurt? What happens when comedy, touched by the power of the Flower of the Gods, takes on the color it has hidden until these people and the laughter becomes bitter? When is laughter medicine, and when does it become poison and self-defense against one’s own fears and filth?
