Two collective farms, two chairmen – one is headed forward to communism, the other pulls back... Popular play, hit of thirties, staged by the Honored Artist of Ukraine Vitaliy Malakhov, became epos, but somehow turned upside down – heroic is substituted by comic in it. But there is no monumental great fight between Galushka and Chasnik here, there is only the sincerity of tow friends. Bydenniy is still alive, there are humor, director findings and wonderful acting works.
